Apple recently filed for a patent for Unites States Patent Application #20060026536. What it essentially does it to manipulate objects (pictures, text, etc) on screen using touch. For example, pulling 2 fingers apart will enlarge the image, pulling 2 fingers together will shrink the image. It is rumoured that this technology, “Gestures”, might appear in Apple’s future tablet PC line, or maybe in their iPod line.
